I’ve always been fascinated with people, culture, and how the two work together. I studied Anthropology in undergrad with minors in Sociology and Religious Studies.
I worked with people with disabilities and then for four years as a caseworker in a domestic violence shelter and rape crisis center.
Around that time, I started learning about herbal medicine to cure my own health issues. When I became a certified herbalist, I realized I needed to know more about physiology, pharmacology, and herb-drug interactions. I decided to become a Registered Nurse and then a Nurse Practitioner.
My interest in natural medicine continued as I became proficient in functional medicine therapies working in a holistic clinic. I started my own integrative clinic in Bloomington, Indiana in 2013.
I had no idea that starting my own business would include so much personal growth. I hired life & businesses coaches who challenged and supported me. I read every book on personal development I could get my hands on. Mind-body medicine became a way of life for me.
In 2017, my family and I moved to Portland, Oregon and I started a new clinic here. I practice integrative medicine and Holistic Pelvic Care™ inside The Flourish Center, a collaborative healing space I created in 2021.
I became a business coach for other Nurse Practitioners in 2018. Since then, I've been adding to my toolbox and enhancing my coaching skills to become a transformational life coach for anyone ready to uplevel their life.
